Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur, Chhattisgarh gets National eGovernance Silver Award for its Integrated Management Information System (IGMIS)
The project Integrated Management Information System (IGMIS) developed for Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur by NIC Chhattisgarh State Centre, Raipur has been awarded with National eGovernance Silver Award during 20th National eGovernance Conference held on 9-10th Jan’2017 at Hotel Novotel, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The award was presented by Hon’ble Shri P.P. Chaudhary, Minister of State, Electronics & Information Technology, Law & Justice, Govt. of India.
The award was presented to MIS team consisting of Dr. S. K. Patil, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the IGKV, Dr. Dr. Ravi R Saxena, Nodal Officer MIS, Shri M. K. Mishra (SIO), Shri Ashok Kumar Banjare, Technical Director and Shri Abhijeet Kaushik, Scientist “B”.
IGMIS is a web enabled; workflow and role based integrated software solution to accomplish enrollment, registration, examination, establishment, finance, research and extension activities.The software offers a better solution to improve the productivity and efficiency of the entire system. IGMIS has a host of useful features which include
- Online facility to students for admission counseling, semester registration, fee payment, admit card, result sheet, revaluation, revaulation etc.
- OMR based CET exam for admission in PG and PhD program.
- System generated University Enrollment ID and Roll No.
- Online Course and Faculty Allotment. etc.
The services are also well accessible through two Android based Mobile Apps namely IGKV MIS for students and faculties and Crop Doctor App for farmer communities and research scientists.
