Two Days training on e-Procurement (Central Public Procurement Portal-CPPP) at Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai on 25 & 26 June 2018

Two days training programme on Central Public Procurement Portal was organized on 25.06.2018 & 26.06.2018 at IIT Bhilai for participants from IIT Goa, IIT Tirupati, IIT Dharwad and IIT Jammu. The session was inaugurated by Prof. Rajat Moona, Director, IIT Bhilai and Shri Dilip Kumar Debnath, SIO, Chhattiagarh. During his interaction with the participants SIO stressed on the need for implementing e-procurement in leading educational institutes for transparency and global participation. He ensured complete support of NIC for training and implementation.

Mr.P.RamaRao, Senior Technical Director and Mr. Rishi K. Rai, Scientist-B, NIC Chhattisgarh State Centre, Raipur conducted the training. The participants were introduced to various modules of eprocurement system like pre requisites for the procurement, enrolment of the department users/bidders, e-Compliance of Tender Documents, Various Price Bid Templates, Preparation of BOQ (Bill Of Quantity), Creation of Tender/Corrigendum and Publishing of Tenders, Bidder Dashboard, Bid Submission Process, Online Bid Opening (Technical/Financial), Updating of Evaluation Results (Technical/Financial) and Award of Contract. The participants also interacted with Sh.K.Srinivasa Raghavan and Smt. Usha Saxena, National coordinators  on VC and were apprised of the various upcoming features of the CPPP and clarified the various domain related issues.

Hands on training was also conducted to the participants with live data on Price Bid preparation, Tender creation and Publishing, Bid Submission, Bid Opening (Technical) and Updating of evaluation results (Technical), Bid opening (Financial) and Updating of Evaluation Results (Financial) and Award of Contract.
