Session 2017-18

1. Haryana Online Paperless Entrance Test

The paper-less Online Entrance Examination has been conducted by HSTES(Haryana State Technical Education Society) under DTE (Department of Technical Education), Govt of Haryana with all technical and software support by NIC Haryana State Unit  every year since 2007 successfully. This year also the project customized as per the requirements and rolled out  for Diploma (Engg. Lateral Entry ) and B.E./B.Tech. Lateral Entry courses. The examination organized in 3 shifts per day for 10 days at 12 designated centers, across the state. The software has the following salient features

  • Online Submission of application/ registration by candidates.
  • Submission of choices w.r.t.  Examination centre, date and shift of exam.
  • Downloading of admit cards after allotment of test centres/ dates/ shifts
  • Appearing in OLET at designated centre.
  • Display of Individual’s attempted score just after end of exam.
  • Generation of unique ranks & publishing for download by the Students.
  • Uploading of OLET data of candidates on counseling server.

2. Invitation of Online application & verification

As a part of process re-engineering, the  Haryana Government had  decided to stop the "Paper entrance exam" for Diploma (engineering) course w.e.f. 2014 session, and  NIC Haryana was requested to enhance  the application software functionalities to facilitate the candidates apply online and  verification of documents , marks , category certificates by designated institutes Online;  It enables, generation of ranks and preparation of inter-se-merit for candidates whose documents were verified successfully; details  are as under:

3.  Online registration & submission of choices (e-counseling)

The Online off-campus counseling project, an Internet based counseling system for admission to AICTE approved technical courses is being implemented successfully since 2006. Admission process and online counseling for the current session has been commenced  w.e.f  13/06/2017 and first counseling seat allotment results have already been published for 2 courses Diploma (Engg.) Lateral Entry and B.E./B. Tech. Counseling for remaining 4 courses shall be started  in the first week of July 2017. Project shall remain continued in the next quarter also i.e  up to 30/09/2017.
