Haryana:-GEM of Digital India 2017 Award for "Dynamic Integration of Property Registration, Land Records and Cadastral Maps" Project of Haryana Government
"Dynamic Integration of Property Registration, Land Records and Cadastral Maps" project of Revenue and Disaster management Department, Govt of Haryana got the prestigious "Gem of Digital India 2017" award. Project is developed by Haryana State Unit of National Informatics Center (NIC). It is a complete Land/Property management solution having dynamic integration of Deed Registration, Land Records and Cadastral Maps. Currently implemented in all the 144 Tehsil and Sub-Tehsils of Haryana.
Award was presented in a function hosted by Coeus Age Consulting & Sify technologies Ltd in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) at New Delhi on 07 June 2017. Sh Deepak Bansal, State Informatics Officer, NIC and other members of the team received the award.
Main objective of the award is to discover the innovative, impactful and sustainable e-Governance initiatives. ‘Dynamic Integration of Property Registration, Land Records and Cadastral Maps’ is one of the 41 Gems of Digital India in the ‘Analyst’s Choice’ category. All of these 41 projects are documented in the form of book titled as "41 Gems of Digital India – Actionable Insights for eGovernance Leaders and Nation Builders" written by Dr. Kapil Dev Singh, so that these inspiring story reaches more and more people. For discovering Gems of Digital India a year-long research was conducted which involves identification of 1600 E-Governance initiatives, classification, short listing, jury and analyst selection and documentation.
