Refresher Course on “Technological Aspects” Held

A five days refresher programme on "Technological Aspects"  of various  projects was held at NIC, District Centre,  Pratapgarh (Raj)  from 2nd- 6th  May 2011. The second in the series of such programmes it had  the active participation of NIC officials from various districts. Every participant was assigned a topic for presentation. A total of eighteen officials including DIOs / DIAs and senior officers from state centre participated, was formally inaugurated by Sh. Hemant Shesh, District Collector, Pratapgarh. In his inaugural address he welcomed the delegates and emphasized on the integrated efforts in the Broadband VC with sub-division offices and SMS based application, Land Records etc. Sh. K.L. Jawaria, Sr. Technical Director  highlighted the objectives and Dr. S.C. Gupta, PSA spoke about the sessions in detail.

 The sessions featured a presentation on  SQL Server 2005 by Sh. Sanjay Sharma, SSA, RSU, Jaipur.  Sh. Anil Purohit, DIO, Pali emphasized on  .NET fundamentals. The technical aspects involved in developing SMS-integrated Applications was showcased over VC with live demonstration by Sh. S.L.Kumawat, SSA, Jaipur.  Sh.K.L.Jawaria, STD also discussed some latest technological trends including ‘DBMS Concepts’ and Dr. S.C Gupta, PSA & District Co-coordinator briefed about various issues pertaining to AMC and hardware maintenance issues. In concluding session, Sh. G.S. Meena, ADM Pratapgarh  was present and  appreciated the initiatives of NIC for conducting this kind of event especially  in Pratapgarh.  He appreciated the technical support being provided by the NIC in various e-Governance initiatives in the district from time to time . Pratapgarh DIO, Sh. Pramod Sharma SSA expressed his happiness for selecting Pratapgarh district to host such unique training programme and looked forward to more such programmes in the future. .
