Training Session on Online Monitoring and Compliance Mechanism (Commerce -eSamikSha) in Department of Commerce at Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi on 03rd November, 2016

eSamikSha, an online Monitoring and Compliance Mechanism has been developed  by Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division, to fast track the compliance of pending action points, proposal, targets, etc. of Various Ministry/Department/Organization/Agency of Govt. of India and Government of States and UTs. The Portal has been designed in such a way that it will enhance efficiency, bring transparency, reduce the need of protracted correspondence and improve the communication between Government to Government (G2G).

With the great success of eSamikSha portal, Shri Alok V. Chaturvedi, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce had desired to host Commerce-eSamikSha for the use of their Department.  Commerce-eSamikSha monitors the compliance, status for various categories like, Items Monitored by Minister/Secretary, Monthly Review Meetings etc. Customized Information on Dashboard also presents the statistical view, various correspondences at a glance.

In this context, a training session on Commerce-eSamikSha Portal was conducted on 03rd November, 2016 at the Conference Room of Department of Commerce for the officials from Department of Commerce & its attached offices.

Training session was started with a short description about the Commerce-eSamikSha by Shri Yogesh Kumar Agarwal, Scientist ‘B’ of the Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division, followed by a complete audio/visual presentation and the workflow of Commerce-eSamikSha. Training was attended by more than 20 officials of Ministry of Commerce & its attached offices. During the training all the modules of Commerce-eSamikSha were explained in detail. It was also explained that how Commerce-eSamikSha will cater their inter-departmental needs.

The session was ended with the question & answer session and vote of thanks by Shri Alok V. Chaturvedi, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce.
