A five day training program on eOffice was conducted at Shimla from 21st October 2016 to 26th October 2016 for the officials of Himachal Pradesh Government. The objective of the training program was to train the nodal officers/eoffice administrators as well as eoffice users of the various State departments. These nodal officers will act as master trainers to train the officials of their respective department. Sh. Amit Kumar and Sh. Shehwaz Ahmed from eOffice team NIC Headquarters, New Delhi imparted the training. The training was designed to cover both demonstration of eoffice and hands on in the practice sessions.

Three days of the training program was attended by the officials of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Irrigation and Public Health, Deputy Commissioner Office Shimla, Police, HP Power Corporation Ltd, HP State Welfare Board and Information Technology. These sessions were held at IT Bhawan, Directorate of Information Technology, Himachal Pradesh. The eOffice team also conducted one day exclusive training for the officials of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj departments on 22nd  and 24th October 2016 at their Directorates.
