Training programme on SPARROW (developed under the eOffice frame work) was organised for IPS officers of Odisha on Dt-21.07.2016 at NIC Odisha State Centre, Bhubaneswar. The IPS Officers of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack joined the training at NIC, Bhubaneswar and IPS Officers posted at District level joined over VC studios of respective NIC District Centres.

The e-PAR team at NIC(HQ), headed by Ms. Rachana Srivastav, STD imparted  training over VC from New Delhi. Sri Lalit Das, Spl. Secretary (Home),Odisha inaugurated the training programme at NIC, Bhubaneswar. Dr R.N.Behera, STD delivered the welcome address.

Government of India has introduced online filing of Performance Appraisal Report (PAR), for IPS officers from the year 2015-16. The online filing of Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) will bring more efficiency and transparency, avoid loss of such reports during transition, and ensure better monitoring and timely submission and completion of performance appraisal evaluation process. It will also facilitate in speeding up the process of getting appointment and promotion related clearance from Central Vigilance Commission.

Sri B.P.Satapathy, PSA and Sri R.K.Sahoo, SA coordinated the training programme at NIC, Bhubaneswar. The District units VC sessions were coordinated by the District Informatics Officers of Odisha.
