NIC District Unit, Subarnapur with its state-of art infrastructure, is rendering its service of excellence since the inception of the district in the year 1993 with the objec tive to facilitate e-Government / e-Governance applications in the district.

Apart from all state and national level applications, NIC Subarnapur has many indigenous projects which grabbed attention in state and national level.

Recently Subarnapur District received the prestigious “Chief Minister‘s Award  for  excellence  & Innovation in Governance & Public Service Delivery” from the  Hon’ble CM of Odisha, Sj. Naveen Patnaik, for the year 2013-14, for the project  SINGLE WINDOW CAMPS FOR COVERAGE UNDER SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEMES AND VASUNDHARA SCHEME FOR HOMESTEAD-LESS IN SUBARNAPUR DISTRICT .

The Hon’ble Chief Minister felicitated Sri Rabindra Pratap Singh, IAS, Collector & DM, Subarnapur, Sri Ashok Rout, Scientist- B & DIO, NIC, Subarnapur, Sri Bhaskar Chandra Turuk, OAS, PD, DRDA, Subarnapur,  Sri Surya Narayan Dash, OAS, Sub-Collector, Sonepur & Sri Gopinath Sarka, OAS, Sub-Collector, Birmaharajpur with certificate of appreciation and memento.

This Project was aimed to provide maximum benefit to the weaker section of the society and to reach the district administration to them proactively. This initiative was thoroughly examined and verified by a high level committee of Govt. of Odisha. Out of 56 projects nominated, it was selected for the “Chief Minister‘s Award for excellence & Innovation in Governance & Public Service Delivery”   

NIC, District Unit, Subarnapur, with its dynamic and dedicated DIO, under the Guidance of DDG & SIO Shri S. K. Panda, is always ready to give support as per the need of the District Administration as well as the citizens.
