WAMSI got the 2015 Leaders Award for achieving Most Admired Brand for Technology in India

The 2015 Leaders Awards, India’s Most Authoritative Awards for Promising Brands & Leaders, honors outstanding performance in a wide range of categories. Waqf Management System of India (WAMSI) is an On-line Workflow based Waqf Properties' Management System. WAMSI System is developed to manage and to maintain up-to-date status of the Waqf Properties through out their lifecycles.

Advantages of implementing of WAMSI would lead to (a) Efficiency in various processes of information delivery, (b) transparency in sharing up-to-date information to the public on web-platform, (c) help in generating maximum revenue. Satellite Imageries driven Geographic Information System (GIS) based on GPS Coordinate System is seamlessly integrated with WAMSI, which helps in identifying the encroachments (if any) in the past as well as in future.

WAMSI covered the aspects such as (a) Waqf Estates & their Waqf Properties (Immovable & Movable), (b) GPS Coordinates of the vertices of the Layouts of Immovable Waqf Properties, (c) Management (Mutawalli) Changes, (d) Annual Waqf Property Returns by Managers, (e) Annual Welfare Measures undertaken, (f) Annual Administrative Contribution to Waqf Boards, (f) Leasing of Waqf Properties, (g) Rent Collections, (h) Litigation Cases Tracking, (i) Digital Preservation of Ownership Right Documents.

As per general concept of the Waqf, the Income generated from Waqf Properties should be utilized for the welfare of the needy, marginalized and under-privilege sections of the society.
