Training Session on On-line Monitoring and Compliance Mechanism (Rail-eSamikSha) at Conference Hall, Ministry of Railway on 29th April 2015

eSamikSha,  an online Monitoring and Compliance Mechanism has been developed  by Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division,  to fast track the compliance of pending action points, proposal, targets, etc. of Various Ministry/Department/Organization/Agency of Govt. of India and Government of States and UTs. The Portal has been designed in such a way that it will enhance efficiency, bring transparency, reduce the need of protracted correspondence and improve the communication between Government to Government (G2G).

With the great success of eSamiksha portal, Hon’ble Minister of Railways had desired to host Rail-eSamiksha similar to eSamiksha with minor customization for the use of Railway Ministry. Rail-eSamikSha monitors the compliance status for various categories like Items Monitored by Minister of Railways, Minister of State of Railways, Chairman Railway Board, Financial Commissioner, Member Mechanical, Member Engineering, Member Electrical, Member Staff, and Member Traffic etc. Customized Information Dashboard also presents the statistical view, various correspondences at a glance. 

In this context, a training session on Rail-eSamikSha Portal, were  conducted  for the  officer of Ministry of Railways. Training sessions has been taken by Smt. Seema Jain, Scientist C, Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division. Training has been attended by 25 officials of Ministry of Railways. During the training session all the modules of Rail-eSamikSha have been explained in detail. It has also been explained that how Rail-eSamikSha will cater their inter-departmental needs. The session has been ended with the question & answer session and vote of thanks.
