Workshop on eSamikSha Online System conducted at Conference Room, Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on 06th November 2014

“eSamiksha portal, a real time, on-line system for monitoring of follow-up action on the decisions taken during the presentations made by different Ministries/Departments to the Prime Minister on  various  subjects  like Infrastructure Target,  Improving Work Environment,  Ganga Rejuvenation,  Swachh Bharat, Centre State Coordination to speed  up  the  communication  gap  between  Centre  and State  or vice  versa  in  respect  of  pending  issues,  Committee of Secretaries (CoS) module to monitor the follow-up  action  in  respect  of  each  decision  taken  in CoS Meetings. The follow-up action in respect of each decision is to be updated by the concerned Ministry/ Department/ State Govt. as and when the status changes or at least every month. Different users such as the PMO/ Cabinet Secretariat/ Ministries/ Departments/State Govt. can securely access the system through a Log-In/ Password.

 With the great success of eSamiksha portal, Cabinet Secretariat is getting request from the various Ministry/Departments to replicate the eSamiksha portal to follow up actions/issues with their concerned departments, organizations, attached bodies etc. with the slight modification.

Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development has desired to host eduSamiksha similar to eSamiksha with minor customization for the use of HRD Ministry.”

 In this context, a Workshop/Training session via Video Conferencing on eSamikSha Online System for Government of Bihar was organized at Conference Room, Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. The training session was chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Anjani Kumar Singh, IAS, Govt. of Bihar and Shri Brijesh Mehrotra, Principal Secretary, Cabinet Coordination Department; Govt. of Bihar organized the event. Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and designated Officers of more than 40 departments of Govt. of Bihar participated in this session.

 The Chief Secretary said that the system will assist in improving the communication between Central Ministry/Dept. and Bihar government in respect of pending issues and follow-up on action points generated by the meetings chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister and Committee of Secretaries.

 The demonstration of eSamikSha Portal done by Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division after briefing on eSamikSha by Chief Secretary, Bihar at 11 AM.  After demo, Chief Secretary interacted with all Principal Secretaries / Secretaries / Officers of various departments on the sited issues using the online eSamikSha Portal for 2 hours.

 NIC Officials from Cabinet Secretariat gave the technical insight of the eSamikSha portal. Complete event was carried out successfully with coordination of NIC Officials of Bihar Secretariat.

 The complete demonstration about the working of the eSamiksha Portal regarding the roles of State users was given by them. A real time example was also discussed to give them the better understanding of categories like Swachh Bharat, Centre State Coordination & Committee of Secretaries.

On Conclusion, the training session was appreciated by the officials of Bihar Government.
