Haryana: Workshop On Online Guest House Booking System for ICAR Institutes

NIC Haryana,  in coordination with Agriculture Informatics Division NIC HQ, has developed an Online Guest House Booking System for Indian Council of Agriculture Research, constituting  99 ICAR institutes and 53 agricultural universities spread across the country. 

Sh. Deepak Bansal, ASIO & Sr. Technical Director, NIC Haryana conducted a sensitisation cum training workshop on 28th April 2014.

This workshop was attended by more than 300 officials from ICAR  including Secretary DARE, Director General DARE, Add. DGs, Dy. DGs and Vice Chancellors of various Agriculture Universities.  Smt. Samina Makhija Technical Director NIC, and Sh Chirag  Bhatia, Programmer  coordinated the activity from Agriculture Division side.NIC Haryana, in coordination with Agriculture Informatics Division NIC HQ, has developed an Online Guest House Booking System for Indian Council of Agriculture Research, constituting  99 ICAR institutes and 53 agricultural universities spread across the country. 

This system provides registration, online booking and view booking status to the visiting officials and  Walk-In Booking, entry of Check-in , Check-out, change room, bill preparation, room booking chart and various other MIS reports to the guest house care taker. The information regarding each guest house will also be available at the ICAR HQ. The system has been integrated with mobile gateway and email service to provide timely alert to every user.
