Second training programme on C-FORM under IVFRT MMP for hoteliers was conducted on 21.10.2013 at Hotel Mapusa Residency, Mapusa, Goa. The Training Programme was organized by the Tourism Department of Goa in coordination with FRRO, Goa.  IVFRT State Coordinator Sh. Bahuleyan K N, supporting staffs Sh. Anoop Kumar C, Sh. Dhanesh K R, FRRO officials, officials of Tourism Department and managers/ representatives of around 80 hotels were present during the session.  The training programme was formally inaugurated by the Dy. Director, Tourism Department of Goa. Ms. Maria Lourdes Monserrate, Police Inspector, representative of FRRO, Goa in her address explained the importance of C-FORM submission and its relevance with respect to National security concerns and also briefed the present practice of C-Form submission to nearest police station and difficulty for getting the same in FRRO and advantage of new process of C-Form online submission.

During the session, along with introduction to IVFRT MMP, the procedures for C-Form registration and submission were also demonstrated to the audience by Sh. Bahuleyan K N and Sh. Anoop Kumar C. In the feedback session, the technical queries raised by the hoteliers were clarified by Sh. Bahuleyan K N, Sh. Anoop Kumar C and Sh. Dhanesh K R and policy based queries were clarified by FRRO.  The response of the hoteliers was quite satisfactory and training was concluded successfully.
