A pilot training on C-Form module was organized on 10th October 2013 in Hotel Mandovi, Panaji with the help of Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) along with Travel and Tourism Association of Goa.

In the training programme Additional State Informatics Officer Sh. K.P. Pariselvan, IVFRT State Coordinator Sh. Bahuleyan.K.N, supporting staffs Sh. Anoop Kumar C, Sh. Dhanesh K.R, Officials of Foreigners Regional Registration Office, Goa and Officials of Travel and Tourism Department, Goa were present and around 30 Managers/representatives of various hotels of the city participated in the training programme.

Goa is one of the largest tourism spot in India with lot of hotels and home stays, C-Form implementation is a biggest challenge. As per the directives of the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, C-Form Module under the Immigration, Visa and Foreigners Registration & Tracking (IVFRT) Mission Mode Project has to be implemented in all the State Governments/UT Administrations.

Sh. K.P.Pariselvan, Additional State Informatics Officer kicked off the ceremony by delivering a keynote address. Sh. Bahuleyan.K.N, IVFRT State Coordinator gave a brief introduction to the IVFRT project and the relevance of C-Form implementation followed by a detailed presentation and practical demonstration of the module by State Coordinator and IVFRT supporting staff Sh. Anoop Kumar C to all the participants. Mrs. Maria Lourdes Monserrate, Police Inspector who attended the training on behalf of FRRO, Goa in her address expressed the importance of submitting C-Form within 24 hours of the arrival of the foreigner in the hotel and also added that the system was of vital importance as far as National security of the country is concerned and encouraged the hoteliers to use the online C-Form submission system at the earliest. A feedback session was organized wherein various queries raised by the participants were addressed by the FRRO and NIC officials. The response of the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa and hoteliers to the new initiative was very enthusiastic and more such training programmes have been finalized to organize in different parts of the state to make the hoteliers aware of online C-Form. The training programme ended with a hearty vote of thanks to all.
