MoU signed on Biometrics Solution for IVFRT-MMP

An MoU was signed between NIC and ECIL on the ICT based Biometrics Solution for the IVFRT-MMP on 18th December 2012 at the venue Conference Hall, NIC (HQ), New Delhi in the presence of Dr. BK Gairola, Mission Director, Dr. YK Sharma, Director General, NIC, Mr. V. Vumlunmang, Joint Secretary (F), MHA, Mr. PK Bhardwaj, JD (I), BoI, Major General (Retd.) Mr. Sanjeev Loomba, VSM, Acting CMD, ECIL, Mr. P. Sudhakar, Director (T), ECIL, Mr. A. Mohan, DDG, NIC, Mr. M. Moni, DDG, NIC, Dr. Mahesh Chandra, DDG, NIC, Dr. BN Shetty, DDG, NIC and so many other dignitaries from MHA, MEA, BoI, ECIL and NIC. The MoU was signed by Dr. Mahesh Chandra, DDG, NIC on behalf of NIC and Mr. P. Sudhakar, Director (T), ECIL on behalf of ECIL.

At the outset, all dignitaries were welcomed by Mr. NK Prasad, PSA, IVFRT, NIC on behalf of NIC and subsequently bouquet of floral was presented by Mr. Sudhakar Rao, ECIL. A brief overview of IVFRT-MMP was also presented to the august audience by Mr. NK Prasad. On the occasion Dr. BK Gairola, Mission Director stressed upon the strategy for integration of Biometrics features in the IVFRT Project. Mr. PK Bhardwaj, JD (I), BoI briefed on importance of Biometrics in IVFRT and also praised the NIC’s pivotal role in the IVFRT Project. Mr. V. Vumlunmang, JS (F) highlighted the expectations from the signed MOU on Biometrics Solutions. Major General (Retd.) Mr. Sanjeev Loomba, VSM, Acting CMD, ECIL presented in detail the role ECIL would play in the Biometrics Solution for IVFRT. Valuable suggestions were also came from Dr. YK Shama, DG, NIC, Mr. A. Mohan, DDG, NIC, Mr. M. Moni, DDG, NIC, Dr. Mahesh Chandra, DDG, NIC, DR. BN Shetty, DDG, NIC, Dr. RK Mishra, TD, NIC and few other senior Officers from NIC, MHA, MEA, BoI and ECIL during the discussion. The ceremony was ended with a hearty Vote of Thanks by Mr. G. Umapathi, GM (SCG), ECIL.
