In a significant step towards digital transformation in higher agricultural education, the Hon’ble Agriculture Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ramvichar Netam, officially launched an AI-enabled dynamic web portal for the Mahatma Gandhi Udyanikee Evam Vanikee Vishwavidyalaya (MGUVV). 

The newly inaugurated dynamic web portal, accessible at mguvv.ac.in Designed to provide students, faculty members 24x7 access to academic services, the platform features a highly interactive. Furthermore, recognizing the diverse linguistic landscape of India  portal integrates robust multilingual support.
 
Content-wise, the website serves as a comprehensive, centralized, and highly transparent digital academic hub. It provides an extensive repository of the university's rigorous academic offerings, spanning  various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programs in horticulture, and forestry. Prospective students can effortlessly explore detailed faculty profiles, highlighting the teaching staff's achievements, research grants, patents, and participation in national committees. It features a centralized scholarship tracking system where applicants can digitally submit mandatory forms, upload necessary income certificates, and monitor their application status in real-time.

The successful launch of dynamic web portal marks a major milestone in advancing  digital governance and smart academic administration at MGUVV. The implementation of these centralized digital modules, automated merit list generation, and innovative e-governance interventions was carried out under the visionary leadership of Dr. (Prof.) Ravi R. Saxena, Vice Chancellor of MGUVV.

The project was successfully executed by the technical team of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Raipur, which developed a secure, scalable, and web portal under the mentorship and technical leadership of Shri T. N. Singh, DDG & State Informatics Officer (SIO), and Shri P. Rama Rao, Senior Technical Director, with support  from Shri Abhijeet Kaushik, Joint Director (IT), NIC Chhattisgarh.
