NIC Raipur Demonstrates University ERP and Digital Agriculture Platform to Delegates from Uzbekistan
National Informatics Centre (NIC), Raipur, showcased a comprehensive University ERP Suite and Digital Agriculture Initiative developed for Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur, to an international delegation representing several prominent universities and colleges from Uzbekistan on 7–8 May 2026 at IGKV, Raipur.
The demonstration was conducted in the presence of Dr. Girish Chandel, Vice Chancellor, IGKV Raipur; Dr. Vivek Kumar Tripathi, Director Research; Dr. Dhananjay Sharma, Associate Director Research; along with other dignitaries and faculty members.
To ensure an engaging and interactive session, a custom real-time translation application was also deployed, enabling the delegates to seamlessly overcome language barriers and gain a comprehensive understanding of the operational workflows of the system. The Real-Time Voice Converter Module is designed to translate spoken language from English to Uzbek in real time using advanced speech recognition and natural language processing technologies. The application provides both audio and text outputs, making it highly effective for communication, collaboration, and interactive engagements.
The e-Governance platform serves as a robust and unified administrative backbone for the university, successfully automating and digitalizing core institutional operations. The system integrates major functional domains including Academics, Admissions, Finance & Accounts, Recruitment, Establishment, Research, and Extension Services into a single centralized platform.
The visiting delegation from Uzbekistan highly appreciated the seamless system architecture and the extensive impact achieved by the platform in integrating administrative efficiency with rural empowerment initiatives. The presentation concluded with technical exchange discussions highlighting the shared commitment of NIC Raipur and IGKV towards establishing global benchmarks in digital governance and technology-enabled higher education ecosystems.
The applications were jointly developed by the NIC–IGKV technical team under the guidance of Shri T. N. Singh, DDG & State Informatics Officer (SIO), Chhattisgarh, and Shri P. Rama Rao, Senior Technical Director, with technical support from Shri Abhijeet Kaushik, Scientist-D, and Ms. Kalpana Banjare.National Informatics Centre (NIC), Raipur, showcased a comprehensive University ERP Suite and Digital Agriculture Initiative developed for Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur, to an international delegation representing several prominent universities and colleges from Uzbekistan on 7–8 May 2026 at IGKV, Raipur.
