Aadhaar Enabled Biometrics Attendance System (AEBAS) Training Conducted at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur
A training program on the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) was conducted on 01 April 2026 at the Administrative Building of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur. The objective of the program was to familiarize university officials and staff with the complete process of attendance registration through the AEBAS web portal and mobile application.
The session was held in the presence of the Registrar, Shri Kapildev Deepak, and the Controller of Accounts, Smt. Manisha Nag. Participants were also guided on installing the mobile application after registration and the process of marking daily attendance through log-in and log-out.
During the training, detailed information was shared regarding the rules, guidelines, and compliance requirements for recording attendance through AEBAS. The participants were also made aware of common errors that may appear while using the system and the corresponding solutions to avoid technical issues in the future.
The training program proved to be a significant step toward ensuring the smooth, transparent, and effective implementation of the digital attendance system in the university. The initiative enhanced awareness and technical readiness among the officials and staff for the proper use of AEBAS.
The training was effectively conducted by NIC, Raipur and MIS team, who provided step-by-step demonstration on the registration process in the AEBAS web portal. The session was carried out with the guidance of Shri T N Singh, DDG & SIO and Shri P. Rama Rao, Senior Director (IT) and the support of Shri Abhijeet Kaushik, Joint Director(IT), ensuring clear understanding and smooth learning for all participants.
