Mass Training Program on iGOT Karmayogi Portal Conducted for Revenue Department in Surguja
A large-scale training program on the iGOT Karmayogi portal under Karmayogi Bharat was successfully organized for officials and employees of the Revenue Department across the district. The full-day training was conducted on March 15, 2026, in three separate batches to ensure smooth participation and effective learning.
The training program witnessed the participation of more than 400 officers and employees, including Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs), Tehsil Office staff, Revenue Inspectors, Patwaris, Land Records Office employees, and 4th grade employees from across the district. The initiative aimed to familiarize revenue officials with the Government of India’s digital capacity-building platform and encourage its active use for professional development.
The sessions covered important aspects of the portal such as user login procedures, downloading and using the mobile application, accessing live learning sessions, completing online assessments, and updating user profiles on the platform. Practical demonstrations were provided to ensure that participants could easily access and utilize the features of the portal.
The training was conducted by the District Informatics Office, NIC Surguja, with Smt. Sharda Agrawal, Joint Collector Surguja and Nodal Officer of the Revenue Department. Their coordination ensured smooth execution of the training sessions and effective engagement of participants. As a result of the initiative, more than 500 employees of the Revenue Department were successfully onboarded onto the iGOT Karmayogi portal by DIO NIC Surguja. This onboarding will enable officials and staff to access various online learning modules, training programs, and capacity-building resources available on the platform.
The program marks a significant step toward strengthening digital learning and skill development among revenue officials in the district. It also reflects the administration’s commitment to promoting continuous learning and improving governance through the Mission Karmayogi framework.
