Training on eChallan System Held at Mahanadi Bhawan
A comprehensive training session on the eChallan system was successfully conducted on 20 February 2026 at Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, bringing together more than 100 officials from the Transport and Traffic Departments.
The session was led by Arvind Yadav, Director (IT), and Amit Kumar Dewangan, Joint Director (IT), along with their technical team. They were joined by Manoj Dhruv, Deputy Commissioner Transport, and C. L. Dewangan, ARTO Transport, who provided operational insights and field-level perspectives.
The training was attended by all Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl. SP – Traffic) and Station House Officers (Thana Incharge) from districts across the state. The programme focused on enhancing understanding of the eChallan platform, improving coordination between enforcement agencies, and ensuring effective, transparent, and technology-driven traffic management.
Officials were briefed on system functionality, real-time enforcement processes, data integration, and best practices for implementation to strengthen road safety enforcement and streamline challan management.
The initiative marks another step toward digital governance and improved inter-departmental collaboration in traffic regulation and enforcement.
