Manav Sampada Software of NIC Himachal Pradesh Gets Gems of Digital India Award
The Manav Sampada product, of NIC, developed by Himachal Pradesh and replicated in many States, has been awarded the Gems of Digital India Award 2018 on 13th June 2018 in New Delhi. Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Technical Director and Project Head, received the award along with Sh. Rahul Kumar, who is the key resource person for this project.
The Manav Sampada application aims to simplify the process of manpower planning, recruitments, postings, promotions & transfers, both fairly & transparently. It's a well integrated, web and mobile enabled human resource management system that covers wide range of processes. The various services that government employees can avail in the system include e-service book, annual property return, dynamic ACR, online leave management, online transfer or promotions, list of employees, pension papers generation etc. Made specifically for the government domain, its rich functionalities and phenomenal success has induced rapid replication among other states.
Manav Sampada has been replicated in 14 states covering 628 registered departments and more than 16 lakh employees. Himachal Pradesh leads the pack in terms of utilization, followed by Punjab, Jharkhand, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh etc. in terms of the number of users registered.
The software is hosted on NIC Cloud, Meghraj, converted as product, Easy On-Board, .Net MVC technology, Open API for CM/DM dashboard. Additional services have been added in the form of Pension papers generation, online leaves/ tours/ACRs, Online Orders, property return filing, training nominations, Mobile App and SMS integration.
Manav Sampada has evolved the process by which effective decisions can be implemented. It encompasses the entire process of public administration, the process underlying the formulation of policies, the HRD efforts required for re-skilling the Government machinery, prioritization and efficient management of public resources and above all redesigning the various instruments used to realize the concept of a welfare State.
The software has been developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh and customized as per requirements of different State Governments.
