Admission & Examination Monitoring System for Tamil Nadu Physical Education & Sports University, Chennai was launched by Shri P. Balakrishna Reddy, Hon'ble Minister for Youth Welfare & Sports Development, Tamil Nadu on 25/04/2018 at the Conference Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The project was steered by Shri Dheeraj Kumar, Principal Secretary to Govt., Youth Welfare & Sports Development Department.  Smt. Reeta Harish Thakkar, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu,

Dr. T. Radhakrishnan, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education & Sports University graced the occasion.

The NIC team was led by Dr. P. Balasubramanian, SIO and DDG  and Project team consists of Smt R. Gayatri, STD, Shri S Venkata Ramana nanthan , STD & Smt Joyce Amirtharaj, TD.

The application which helps the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in monitoring all the activities carried out by the Stakeholders in conducting the Semester Examinations smoothly, captures the non-confidential data about the University, Affiliated Colleges, Distance Education Study Centers, Faculty Members and the Students, admitted through Regular, Distance Education and Ph.D. modes.  

The main modules of the application are

     - Online Application for Student Admission Process

     - Capturing the Students Profile and Registration of Subjects

     - Periodical Attendance and Internal Assessment Marks capturing

     - Registration for the Examinations 

     - Generating Hall Tickets for the eligible Students

     - Absentees details and examination malpractice details monitoring

     - Semester Examination Results dissemination

     - Registration for Revaluation / Review of Answer Scripts

     - Maintaining Faculty Profiles and assigning examination duties to them

     - Processing of application for admission is completely online. 

     - Provision to track the status of application 

     - Notifications and communications through SMS and Email. 

In addition to  the ‘Admission & Examination’ processes, following ‘Non-confidential Post-Examination’ processes are also covered by this web application:

     - Disseminating UG/PG/PhD Examination Results through web portal from the separately processed data uploaded by the O/o Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, CoE.

    - Generating the ‘Results Summary’ report for the Colleges from this results data.
