Govt. of Tripura has decided to adopt e-Office suite across  all departments in the State Secretariat and various Directorate at the state level.  It  was also decided to implement  e-Office Suite initially in  Industries and Commerce Department covering  i. Directorate of Information Technology, ii. Dept. of Industry and Commerce, iii. Dept. of Handloom, Handicraft & Sericulture iv. Skill Development Directorate on immediate basis.  

During the inaugural program,  Shri D. Bardhan, IAS, Director (IT)  and  Shri C.K.Dhar, SIO, NIC have delivered the welcome address and key note address respectively.

e-Office suite for Directorate of Information Technology , Govt. of Tripura was launched by Shri M.Nagaraju, IAS, Principal Secretary, Govt. of Tripura on 12-07-2017 in presence of  other high officials, where Dr. S.K.Panda, Former Chief Secretary & Chairman, Skill Development Mission also spoken to ensure benefits to citizens at large  and appreciated efforts.

During the inauguration programs,  the Principal Secretary, IT has congratulated and appreciated NIC to deploy  and operationalize e-Office suite in time and requested NIC to extend support  and hand-hold other departments to on-board as per the schedule.  He has specifically emphasised on Digital Workplace Concept to bring transparency,  accountability and efficiency in delivering good governance.
