The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik launched the new Odisha Government Portal www.odisha.gov.in on 30th June 2017 from Odisha Secretariat.

Dedicating the portal to citizen of Odisha, Honourable C.M congratulated the team of Electronics & IT Department, OCAC and NIC for developing this forward looking State Portal for Government of Odisha.

Appreciating the effort put in by NIC & E&IT Dept., Honourable Minister for E & IT, Sri Chandra Sarathi Behera, informed that emulating the Government’s focus on social media for direct interaction with people, the portal incorporates an innovative Social Wall portlet that displays social media – twitter and facebook– activities of all departments and agencies in one page. All-important announcements on social media are also displayed prominently.

Interacting on the occasion Shri P. K. Pramanik, SIO & DDG, NIC Odisha added that effort has been taken to have simplistic design with optimum ease of use features and extensive content management system for hassle free information updation.

The team of NIC officers including Dr. A. K. Hota, STD & Head, State Portal, Sri Malay Pattanaik, TD, Dr. Ashis Mahapatra, TD and Sri Subal K. Nayak, Scinetist-D coordinated the programme.
