J&K State Won GOLD Web Ratna Award under District Category

J&K State won the 2nd Prize(Gold) under the 'Web Ratna District' category for Citizen friendly website and e-Governance initiatives of District Kupwara  http://kupwara.gov.in . The award was presented in a grand ceremony on  “Digital India Awards 2016” held on 19th Dec. 2016  at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi by the Hon'ble Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology and Law and Justice , Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad. 

The official website of district Kupwara has been designed by DIO NIC District Centre Kupwara in close coordination with the Deputy Commissioner, Shri Kumar Ranjeev Ranjan, IAS keeping in view the citizens and various services provided by the government to the citizen. The website includes exhaustive information on Public Services Guarantees like application forms, brochures, contact details etc. The website has been appreciated by general public as well as by top Government officials of Jammu & Kashmir state for including pinpoint and realtime information about critical public services. Salient Features : Exhaustive information on Citizen Services Important Contact Information Regular important updates Guides/Tutorials on obtaining various public services like public utilities, certificates, etc. Exhaustive Information about various departments and their activities Online portals for data entry for various activities using Google Forms and Google Sheets Online Information Portals for various services like NFSA, Civil Works Monitoring etc
