HARYANA:-Digital India Outreach Campaign in District Sirsa
Aimed to spread awareness about flagship programme and policies of the Centre as well as State Government on Digital India in Rural Areas. a special van equipped with Audio - Video facilities, internet connectivity and other material has been started from Sirsa on 8/6/2016, which was flagged off by Smt Sharandeep Kaur Brar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Sharandeep Kaur Brar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner conveyed that route plan for the visit has also been finalized and van would cover about 50 villages in next 25 days.
The Van would exhibit presentation, street play and video showing the programmes and projects launched by the Government.
Officers from Distt Administration viz. City Magistrate, DIO NIC, ADIO NIC, DIPRO, Representative from BSNL, Post office, SP office and general public were present on the occasion. The event was covered by various daily news papers.
