Half Day Training on SPARROW application for IPS Officers posted in Nagaland was jointly organized by Home Department, Govt. of Nagaland and NIC Nagaland State Centre at Police Headquarters, Kohima on 20th May, 2016. The Training Programme was chaired by Shri. L. Singsit, IPS, Special Secretary (Home), Govt. of Nagaland who is also the State PAR Custodian. In his welcome address, the Special Secretary (Home) emphasized on the importance of SPARROW system and sought active participation of all the Officers for successful implementation of the project. Brief introduction on SPARROW application was given by Shri. Kezungulo Medikhru, SIO, NIC Nagaland.  This was followed by Demo and interaction session conducted by Shri. T. Y. Sangtam, SSA & SPARROW Coordinator, NIC Nagaland. Introduction on Digital Signature Certificate was given by Ms. Swedesenuo Natso, Scientist-B, NIC Nagaland. The training session came to a successful conclusion with Shri. P. F. Zeliang, IPS, IGP(Hqr.) pronouncing vote of thanks. Altogether, 63 Police Officials including 4 Officials of State SPARROW Team from Home Department participated in the training.
