Hon’ble Transport Minister, Bihar Sh. Chandrika Ray launched E-Payment facility using SBI Multi-Option Payment System (MOPS) for payment of Road Tax for Commercial Vehicles using VAHAN on 6th May 2016. This will facilitate citizens to pay taxes with 45 nationalized and private banks.


Principal Secretary, Transport Department, Govt. of Bihar, Principal Secretary, Transport Department, Govt. of U.P., Chief GM SBI, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Singh, State Informatics Officer, Bihar, Sh. Rabindra Kumar Singh, Addl. ASIO (State Hq), Dr. Neeraj Sinha, Addl. ASIO (Districts) were present during official function.


Dr. Kanhaiya Pandey, PSA & Coordinator demonstrated the e-payment interface with VAHAN. Sh. Rana Pratap, PSA provided the necessary technical support.
