Honourble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh Launches 20 Citizen Centric Services under e-District

Shri Virbhadra Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh, formally launched twenty web based Citizen Centric Services on 22nd April, 2016 under e-District project. This launch has not only digitally empowered people of the state but was also the first step towards integration of various departmental databases and delivery of services under single sign on. The services launched under e-District includes Registration and Renewal of shop and commercial establishment, registration of establishment employing contract labour, application for contract labour license and 14 kind of certificates including rural area, backward area, legal heir, backward area, minority community, agriculturist, Dogra class, character, caste, bonafide Himachali, income, OBC, freedom fighter, domicile and needy person. With this the total number of services available under e-District has reached 31 which ranks the state among top five states in the country.

On this occasion, the CM appreciated the efforts and congratulated the state Information Technology department, National Informatics Centre, System Integrators as well as all concerned departments who worked together and made the state proud in the field of Information Technology. Chief Mister also mentioned about the availability of 53 services under single roof through more than 2000 Lok Mitra Kendras which are available at Panchayat level.

The ACS(IT) also demonstrated the viewing of Land Records made available to the general public through official web site of Revenue department Himachal Pradesh. The attribute Record of Rights (Jamabandi and Shajra Nasb) made available in public domain since the year 2015 and now the state has reached another milestone by providing the copy of plot map of two stages namely;  Settlement stage(Musavi) as well as latest stage (Momi) available in the public domain. Now the citizen can get Plot map copy along with the Jamabandi by visiting revenue web site http://himachal.nic.in/revenue.

As part of e-District project, wherever required, the application is integrated with Land Records database to fetch necessary Land details or Family details of the applicant. Similarly, the single sign-on portal of Lok Mitra Kendra is integrated with Land Records, eSamadhan, Employment Exchange portal and Jail Varta applications of NIC Himachal Pradesh.
