One of the project of  NIC Uttarakhand titled as Vivekadheen Kosh(Discretionary Funds) Disbursement Management and Monitoring System" for Rajbhavan Secretariat Uttarakhand bagged SKOCH Order of merit award at  Skoch Financial Inclusion and Deepening Award 2015 held at International Convention Hall, BSE, Dalal Street, Mumbai during 11 and 12 June 2015.   The project is about automation of Vivekadheen Kosh (Discretionary Funds) Disbursement & its Management  for Governor’s Secretariat Uttarakhand.   In order to process large no. of applications received from needy citizens in transparent, effective and timely manner a browser based system has been designed, developed and implemented in the Governor’s Secretariat. The automated workflow based system encompasses all stages from receipts of applications to verification of application by concerned Government officials to final sanction and disbursement of money to the needy. The system for grant of financial assistance through Vivekadheen Kosh has following steps:   a Receiving of an application from citizen/institutions b Verification from concerned District Magistrate/official c Generation of reminders , in case of pending verification d Tracking status of an application e Approval from the  Hon’ble Governor f To issue Sanction Order g Preparation of treasury bill by account section h To monitor the funds status financial year wise   Project Team Mr S K Sharma, TD Mr Sanjay Gupta, TD Ms Pushpanjali, SA
