The Department of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland organized a one day training on Online NGO Grants Proposal Tracking System, a project under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India on 3rd March 2015 at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Conference Hall, Kohima. The training programme was attended by the Officers and Staff from the Secretariat, Directorate and 11 Districts.

The main objective of the training was to sensitize various levels of Officers and staff at District, Directorate and Secretariat level on the flow of the NGO Grants proposal processes where it eventually lands at the Ministry level for further processing.

Resource Person, Ms. Swedesenuo Natso, Systems Analysts & Project Coordinator, NIC Nagaland demonstrated the flow of the proposal in the online system. During the hands–on-session all the required users were also created in the site ngogrants.gov.in/bo-login

The programme was chaired by Shri. T.  Merangtsungba Aier, Director Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland. Altogether 36 Officers attended the day-long session.
