During oneâ€day visit of Hon’ble Minister of State (C & IT) to Orissa on 20th August 2010, Shri Sachin Pilot, a meeting was organized to review the activities of NIC, Bhubaneswar.
Shri S. K. Panda, SIO & Sr. T.D, briefed on various services provided and initiatives taken by NIC Orissa. He demonstrated the NREGA payment accounting system the citizen centric rural services delivery model being implemented under Panchayatiraj dept.
A press conference was organised after the review meeting. Hon’ble Minister appreciated the role of NIC & informed that the time is not far when ICT enablement would reach the unreached and empower all citizens thru access to information at the click of the button.
