Launch of Website of Deptt of Agriculture by CM Punjab

The website for Department of Agriculture, Punjab was formally launched by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sardar Parkash Singh Badal in a state-level function organized by Department of Agriculture on 9th July 2013 at Punjab Bhawan Chandigarh. Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Financial Commissioner Development and other senior officers of Punjab Government were also present during the ceremony.The website has been designed, developed and hosted by NIC Punjab using open source technologies using PHP, CSS, Javascript, J Query.

A detailed demonstration of the website was given to H'ble CM by Director Agriculture and team of officers from NIC Punjab Team comprising of Mr Ajay Malhotra, PSA and Ms Parminder Kaur, SA. Chief Minister and CPS lauded the efforts of the department and NIC Punjab in this venture.
