Two weeks Long training programme for officers of I & P.R Department, Govt. of Odisha

NIC is providing all ICT based solutions to Information & Public Relations (I & P.R) department, Government of Odisha apart from implementing e-Advertisement and e-News applications. As a part of change management approach the customized training programme for all the Information Officers, Addl. Information Officers & other officials of Information & Public Relations department, Government of Odisha has been conducted in two batches, each of 5 days duration, at NIC State Centre, Odisha.

The training covered MS-Office, Adobe Photoshop, Odia typing over Akruti, Internet and e-mail uses etc. Practical Sessions were conducted simultaneously for better acquaintance of the participants. The training for first batch was from 29th April to 3rd May, and second batch was from 13th May to 17th May 2013.

Shri S. S Panda, Joint-Director-cum-Dy. Secretary to  Govt.,  I&PR, and Shri Ganeswar Jena,Deputy Secretary to Government  coordinated the training programme on behalf of the department.  Shri A.K Mohanty, Technical Director, coordinated this two weeks long programme on behalf of NIC.

All the participants appreciated the efforts put in by NIC in enriching such valuable knowledge base.
