Sensitization workshop on RealCraft-Fishnet programme at N.I.C., Ganjam, Chatrapur, Odisha
One day training programme was held in the Video-Conference room of N.I.C., Ganjam, Chatrapur on RealCraft-FishNet software to the staffs of Asst. Director Fisheries (Marine), Humuri, Ganjam on 28-9-2011.
From NIC side Sri Subash Chandra Misra, DIO and Sri Ranajeet Dash, DIA coordinated the training programme. Sri Prakash Chandra Misra, SSA from NIC, Bhubaneswar state unit conducted the training Programme . All the staffs of A.D.F.(Marine), Humuri, Ganjam participated in the training programme.
‘ReALCraft’ is a work flow based online application system for Vessel Registration under MS Act and License Certificate under MFR Act to the fishing vessels operating along the Indian coast. It is a national project sanctioned by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India for implementing in all coastal States and UTs. The main objectives of the project are to have a national level database for fishing vessels, to prevent illegal, unregistered & unreported vessels in the territorial waters, to strengthen coastal security as well as security of the fishermen in the sea.
In the training programme real data of registration, License and Permit was entered through online as data entry user. Then as the verification user the entered data was verified. Then as a approval user the registration cases were approved. Finally the registration certificates were printed through online. The s/w has security features which allows to print the certificate only once. In License case new license, renewal of license, duplicate license and in permit case permit within state and permit outside the state shown.
