WORKSHOP on MCTS organized in Punjab

A four-day workshop-cum-training was organized by National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Punjab with the support of NRHM Punjab at State Institute of Health and Family Welfare, S.A.S Nagar from 04.04.2011 to 07.04.2011. This MCTS one-day programme was repeated on four consecutive days in four different batches in which IT Assistants from all the Health Blocks of Punjab participated.  A total of 115 IT assistants attended the training cum workshop in four days.   The workshop was conducted by Sh.Gurdev Singh PSA from NIC Punjab who demonstrated the MCTS application in detail in different sessions that included preparation of various masters including common masters, procedure to add villages not available in Census-2011 data. The importance of accuracy in creating Masters for correct data entry & reporting was also emphasized.   The procedure for online data entry on MCTS application for pregnant women, temporary migrated pregnant mother and Child registration & immunization was also demonstrated in detail. Generation of Work plans based on different parameters was also shown.   Hands on sessions were also organized for all the participants on MCTS application for better understanding on the concepts and work flow of the application.   At the end, Q&A session was organized for each batch to resolve all the queries and doubts in which all the issues of the participants were taken up and answered jointly by Punjab Health department and NIC.
