In the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Management Information System (MIS), developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for the Chhattisgarh State Handloom Development Federation, was formally launched.

The system was developed under the guidance of Shri T. N. Singh, DDG & State Informatics Officer (SIO), NIC Chhattisgarh, by the development team comprising Shri Pradeep Kumar Mishra, Scientist-F, and Shri Anand Kumar Soni, Scientist-D.

This digital initiative will enable efficient, transparent, and systematic management of inventory, storage, billing, and distribution of handloom products, thereby significantly enhancing the Federation's overall operational efficiency, service delivery, and decision-making capabilities.

    i.  Order information is communicated instantly to Weavers' Cooperative Societies and SHGs through SMS. 
    ii.  Government departments can place orders online, resulting in savings in time, postage, and paper. 
    iii.  Digitally signed order letters can be generated and uploaded, allowing warehouses to download and access them immediately. 
    iv.  Credit bills can be generated and uploaded, enabling the concerned departments to download and view them instantly. 
    v.  All challans and acknowledgements are available digitally with a single click   and are secured using QR Code technology. 
    vi.  Product tracking and stock information are available with a single click. 
    vii.  Reports for uniform supply, tracking, and supply status are readily available.
