An Online Synopsis Submission System was inaugurated at the Administrative Building auditorium of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur on 06 April 2026, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The initiative aims to digitize and automate key academic processes, including Advisory Committee allotment, preparation of the Program of Work and online synopsis submission.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Girish Chandel, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Anoop Kumar Dave, Director and Controller of Examinations, Dr. Aarti Guhe Dean of College of Agriculture Raipur, and Dr. Dhananjay Sharma, Nodal Officer (MIS). Heads of Departments and Deans of other colleges joined the program through online mode.

Earlier, students had to go through a lengthy approval process for synopsis submission. This system has significantly simplified the procedure. The Advisor, Advisory Committee allotment, Program of Work, and Synopsis Submission modules have been carefully designed to ensure seamless digital processing and an automated workflow for all synopsis-related activities. The system will be implemented for PG and Ph.D. students from the academic session 2025–26 onward.

The portal was developed by the National Informatics Centre, Raipur, under the guidance of Shri Abhijeet Kaushik, Joint Director (IT) & Shri P. Rama Rao, Senior Director (IT), and with the mentorship of Shri T. N.  Singh DDg& SIO, NIC Raipur, ensuring a robust, user-friendly, and transparent digital platform for academic administration.
