On the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti and the Silver Jubilee Year of Chhattisgarh State, the Labour Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, organized a grand Shramik Mahasammelan today at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium, Raipur.

Taking a significant step towards digital transformation and inclusive governance, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnudev Sai, inaugurated the Shramev Jayate Portal (https://shramevjayate.cg.gov.in/) and disbursed a total of Rs. 2,06,72,570/- to workers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) on 17 September 2025.

The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai as the Chief Guest and presided over by Hon’ble Minister of Labour & Industry Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan. Several distinguished guests also participated, adding dignity to the event.

On this occasion, the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Chhattisgarh team presented the technical aspects, security standards, and development process of the Shramev Jayate Portal. The portal has been developed with technical support from NIC and will further strengthen the labour service delivery system in the state.
