eGram Workshop Organized at Jaipur, Rajasthan


State Level Workshop of Chief Minister eGram system has been organised by Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Rajasthan at Centre of Excellence for Revenue Research and Analysis, Jaipur to review the progress, capacity building and discussions on new initiatives in the system. Officers from all Districts and Blocks of Rajasthan, in addition to the Directorate officers has attended the workshop. Sr. Director (IT), NIC Rajasthan has given detailed presentation on eGram portal and discussed about technical issues with the participants. He also briefed about the the mobile app of eGram which is under development and invited suggestions on the facilities to be provided in the mobile app. Assistant Director (IT), NIC Rajasthan discussed about the analytics generated from the available data in the portal.
Developed by NIC Rajasthan Chief Minister eGram system has the data of 12 major departments of Rajasthan implemented successfully for more than 16 years. Portal revamped with latest schemes, facilities and requirements of the government. The portal contains the detailed information of infrastructure, facilities, services and schemes available in the villages. Information includes Geography and Demography of village, Livestock, Major crops, Drinking water status, Electricity, Medical and Health services, Education facilities, Banking facilities, Housing schemes, Women and Child development, Electorates, Major minerals, Public Distribution System, Government buildings, Government hostels and any other facilities available in the village. Block officers are regularly updating portal through the information collected by Gram Prabhari’s.
Portal serves as a ready reckoner of facilities and services available at village level for planning purpose. Village wise data is also be available in public domain for citizens. Access to the portal has been given to concerned departments. Various statistical and analytics are being generated with the portal.
