Cybersecurity initiatives at Department of Administrative Reforms and Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare

A meeting chaired by Shri V Srinivas, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), was held on 26th May at Sardar Patel Bhawan. During the meeting, Deputy CISO Ms. Shakti Bala, gave a detailed presentation and apprised the Secretary about the cybersecurity initiatives
undertaken within the department.

Smt. Jaya Dubey, Joint Secretary & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), DARPG; Smt. Sarita Chauhan, Joint Secretary, DARPG; Shri Sanjeev Saxena, Head of Department, NIC-DARPG; and other senior officers of the department were also present in the meeting.

Another meeting, chaired by Shri V Srinivas, Secretary, Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, was held on the same day at the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare. During this meeting, the Secretary was apprised of the cybersecurity initiatives undertaken in the department. Shri Dhubajyoti Sen, Joint Secretary & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO); Shri Anil Bansal, Head of Department, NIC-DoPPW and other senior officers of the department were present in the meeting.

A cybersecurity awareness workshop, chaired by Smt. Sarita Taneja, Deputy Secretary, DARPG, was also held the same day afternoon for the officers/officials of the rank up to Section Officer. The workshop included hands-on activities designed to enhance the participants' practical understanding. The session was well-received and appreciated by all attendees.
