Inaugural Demonstration & Workshop DO Letter & Annexure Module

eSamikSha is a Digital Governance Platform for Easy, Instant and Secure Exchange of Information. In the rapidly evolving digital age, governments around the world are embracing technological advancements to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness. One such ground-breaking tool making waves in the realm of governance is the eSamikSha portal. Developed with the aim of revolutionizing administrative processes, eSamikSha is redefining how government workflows operate, fostering transparency, accountability, and seamless communication between G2G.

Over time span, 15+ modules integrated on eSamikSha portal. In addition to that, a new module DO Letter & Annexure developed by NIC CSID Team as per the vision of Cabinet Secretary, GoI. A brief meeting held on 24.10.2024 under the chairmanship of Cabinet Secretary (Dr. T. V. Somanathan) to stimulated and designed such module where all Ministry/ Department send their monthly DO Letter along with generated Annexures (Part-A, Part-B & Part-C) through online available individually on eSamikSha portal.

Brief about Newly Developed DO Letter & Annexure Module:

a. Online Module for Monthly DO Letters & Annexures developed. Online formats of Annexures Part-A, Part-B and Part-C are available to facilitate generating them.

Part A - Selected Ministry/ Department Indicators (Monthly or Quarterly).

Part B - Report on availability and utilization of Scheme Fund (source: PFMS)

Part C - Sectoral Indicators (Monthly or Quarterly).

b. Information to be provided by Ministry/ Department in prescribed formats of Part-A & Part-C of Annexure online on the Module.

c. Part- B is available to Ministry/ Department through PFMS vide API Integration

d. Signed hard copy of Part A, Part B and Part C of Annexures should be attached with the Monthly DO letter for sending to Cabinet Secretary before 10th of each Month.

Ms. Anita Tripathi, Director, Cabinet Secretariat and Sh. R.K Sharma, Sr. Director (IT)/ HoD, NIC Cabinet Secretariat graced the inaugural Demonstration & Workshop session through Video Conference on 28.03.2025 to all Nodal Officers Ministry/Department. HoD has also informed that DO Letter and Annexures module would be live and available to all Ministry/Department w.e.f. 1st April 2025.

Portal demonstration was given by Sh. Yogesh Agarwal, Joint Director (IT), NIC Cabinet Secretariat, who introduced about the newly design and developed module features, highlighted its seamless API integration with PFMS and eSamikSha portal.

Queries raised by various stakeholders of Ministry/ Department were addressed during the workshop session. The workshop training has active participation from 105 officers from various Ministry/ Department, including senior officials and technical staff. The workshop was successful and concluded with a vote of thanks.
