Prime Minister Visit to Dadra & Nagar Haveli for the Inauguration of NAMO Medical Education and Research Institute & NAMO Hospital

As part of the Honorable Prime Minister of India visit to Dadra & Nagar Haveli for the inauguration of the NAMO Medical Education and Research Institute and NAMO Hospital on 7th March 2025, NIC provided end-to-end technical support in coordination with the UT Administration and in accordance with directives from the Advance Security Liaison (ASL).
NIC officers were deployed at the PMO setup at NAMO Hospital and at Sayli Ground, Silvassa, to ensure robust IT infrastructure and secure communication as per Special Protection Group (SPG) protocols. Extensive technical arrangements were made, including:
Deployment of desktop systems, fax machines, and multifunction printers (print/scan/copy).
Installation of ISD/STD lines and intercom facilities in PMO and Green Rooms.
Setup of secure hotline connections and seamless Wi-Fi-enabled internet connectivity for uninterrupted communication.
All critical functionalities were rigorously tested and demonstrated during the SPG-mandated rehearsal, ensuring complete preparedness ahead of the Prime Minister arrival.
During the event, the Honorable Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth 2,587 crores, including the NAMO Hospital. A specially designed backdrop video was launched using a remote console, with NIC ensuring flawless execution through real-time console operations, delivering superior visual and audio experience.
The event was live-streamed on YouTube, enabling citizens across the nation to witness the occasion. NIC also facilitated two-way video conferencing for public gatherings in Daman and Diu, allowing real-time interaction and viewing of the proceedings.
Under the leadership of Shri Pramod D. Borole, SIO, DNH & Daman & Diu, all responsibilities assigned to NIC were executed with precision and efficiency. His guidance and supervision were instrumental in the successful delivery of all technical operations associated with the high-profile visit.
