Capacity Building under eCourt Phase III: Technical Training for High Court of Orissa Staff

A two-day technical training programme was successfully conducted for the technical staff of the High Court of Orissa under the eCourt Phase III Capacity-Building Programme, aimed at enhancing their technical proficiency and operational efficiency.
The training, designed by the Hon’ble eCommittee of the Supreme Court of India, was held at the Orissa Judicial Academy on 22nd and 23rd March 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Ms. Itishree Nanda, Scientist-E, and Sri Khirod Kumar Sahoo, Scientist-D, served as resource persons, delivering expert sessions on a range of technical topics relevant to court IT operations.
Key Highlights of the Training Programme
The programme comprised 12 technical sessions covering critical areas such as:

Case Information System (CIS) and OHC e-Services

Hardware and software maintenance

Data replication and VMware operations

Data monitoring and video conferencing equipment management

Security protocols including server, network, and cybersecurity

Digitization of case records

Workflow processes in the High Court and subordinate judiciary
The training saw active participation from approximately 45 personnel, including System Officers, technical staff, contractual manpower, and Assistant Section Officers (ASOs) from the High Court.
At the conclusion of the programme, the Director, Orissa Judicial Academy, felicitated the participants with certificates of participation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Deputy Director, Orissa Judicial Academy, marking the successful culmination of a knowledge-rich and interactive learning experience.
