Hon’ble Chief Minister Haryana, Mr. Manohar Lal launched Skilling Portal (https://skill.haryana.gov.in) of the Haryana Skill Development Mission on 22/02/2021.

 

The Skilling portal has developed in compliance to the directives and visionary outlook of the Honourable Chief Minister, Haryana to have a single portal for all short-term skilling in the state to make it easy for candidates to identify the right skill training and the training center for them at the click of a button. Such a portal was also envisaged to provide with an integrated database of all skilled youth who can then be linked to employment opportunities.

Additional Chief Secretary, Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Sh. Raja Sekhar Vundru, apprised the Chief Minister that the courses being run by 11 departments have been integrated through this portal.  With this, Haryana has become the first state in the country which has developed such a unique portal.

 

On this occasion, Sh. V.S. Kundu, Additional Chief Secretary, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Sh. Raja Sekhar Vundru, Additional Chief Secretary, Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Principal Secretary, Technical Education Department, Sh. P. C.  Meena, Director General, Skill Development, Industrial Training and Employment, Sh. Anant Prakash Pandey, Mission Director, Haryana Skill Development Mission and Shri Deepak Bansal, DDG & SIO, NIC-Haryana were also present.
