Launch of GeoRurban Mobile App on 24th February 2020 by Hon’ble Union Minister for Rural Development Shri  Narendra Singh Tomar and Minister of State Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti at International Ambedkar Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.

On 24th February, 2020, celebrating the  successful completion of 4 years of Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM), Honourable Union Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare launched the GeoRurban Mobile App at International Ambedkar Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.

The GeoRurban Mobile app is developed with a motive to assist monitoring of physical progress of the works under SPMRM. The occasion was attended by all the officials and PRI members directly linked to the 300 clusters of the country under SPMRM. The Secretary,  Rural Development Sh. Rajesh Bhushan, Spl. Secretary Sh. Prashant Kumar, Jt. Secretary(SPMRM) Sh. Biswajeet Banerjee and other officials from the Ministry graced the occasion.

From NIC, Dy. Director General and Head of Group Sh. Deepak Chandra Misra, MD NICSI, Sh. Prashant Mittal, Sr. Tech Director and Head of the project Smt. Kabita Roy Das from  NIC, Assam and all team members from NIC-RD participated in the event.
