Two Day training conducted on eProcurement (Central Public Procurement Portal-CPPP) to IRCON, Raipur

A two-day training programme on Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) was organized at IRCON, Raipur from 20th to 21st June 2019 for participants from Chhattisgarh Rail Project, CEWRL –Corridor- Gevra-Pendra, Katni Yard Grade Separator Project, Katni Singrauli Doubling Project and IRCON, Bilaspur. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Mahabal Prasad, Chief General Manager,  Chhattisgarh East Railway limited, Chhattisgarh Rail Project, Shri Dilip Kumar Debnath, State Informatics Officer,NIC Chhattisgarh and Smt. Usha Saxena, Sr. TD and HoD eProcurement, NIC Headquarters, New Delhi.

Interacting with the participants, Shri Dilip Kumar Debnath stressed on the need for implementing eProcurement atCentral Government Departments for transparency and global participation. He ensured complete support of NIC Chhattisgarh for training and implementation.

The training was imparted by Smt. Usha Saxena, and the participants were familiarized with various modules of eProcurement system such as prerequisites for procurement, enrolment of department users/bidders, e-Compliance of tender documents, various price bid templates, preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ), creation of tender/corrigendum and publishing of tenders, bidder dashboard, bid submission process, online bid opening (technical/financial), updating of evaluation results (technical/financial) and award of contract.

Practical sessions were also conducted with live data on some of the above mentioned activities.
