Smt Neeta Verma, Director General, National Informatics Centre delivered the keynote address at the Northeast Technology Sabha organized by the Indian Express Group at the Radisson Blu hotel in Guwahati today. In her address the Director General traced the evolution of ICT development and application in the country, and outlined the platform approach of ICT development being adopted at present times.   The event was organized with the support of ICT Business leaders and was attended by senior government officials and potential investors.   NIC was also awarded the Digital Leader Outstanding Contribution in the Northeast Award on the occasion. DG NIC received the award.
