The Land Records Management System, a web enabled application software has been developed by NIC Odisha State Unit to maintain up-to-date Record of Rights. It is a transaction based application which helps the Mutation Officer (Tahasildar / Addl. Tahasildar) posted at Tahasil to initiate a mutation case whenever there is a transaction at Registration office or receive application from an applicant at Tahasil. Biometric authentication has also been incorporated in the LRMS software.

The LRMS Online Mutation S/W was inaugurated at Lakhanpur and Laikera Tehsil on 20/03/2018 by Shri Ajay Kumar Jena, Sub-Collector, Jharsuguda in presence of Akshya Mishra, DIO, NIC, Jharsuguda and concerned Tahasildars, Addl. Tahasildars, Record Keepers, RIs., Dealing Assts. etc.

The last phase of LRMS Online Mutation S/W was inaugurated at Kirmira and Kolabira Tehsils on 29/03/2018 by Dr. Sitaram Patel, Addl. District Magistrate, Jharsuguda in presence of Akshya Mishra, DIO,NIC, Jharsuguda.

Training was imparted to the Tahasil officials including Addl. Tahasildars, Record Keepers, Dealing Assistants and Revenue Inspectors on the use of LRMS application and the process to obtain VPN certificate from NIC.

It ushered a new era in bringing transparency and timely citizen centric delivery under e-Governance initiative taken by NIC by making LRMS operational in all the 5 Tahasil offices of Jharsuguda District which was appreciated by the District Administration.
